TAYLOR WOOD
My love for hair started early—while hanging out in my mom’s barber shop. That shop was my second home, and being surrounded by creativity, conversation, and confidence lit a spark in me that never went out. Hair became more than hair—it became a lifestyle, a craft, and eventually, my calling.

I grew up in the small town of Snoqualmie, Washington, where life was simple and community mattered. After high school, I dove headfirst into motherhood and cherished those years at home watching my babies grow. Then life did what it does—it shifted. In 2012, I took a leap, followed that long-burning spark, and earned my cosmetology license from the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle. Fast forward 13+ years, and I’m still wildly in love with what I do (and yes, I still get excited about a good hair day).

Let’s talk hair—because color is my love language. Lived-in blondes, rich brunettes, effortless dimension, root shadows, money pieces… chef’s kiss. I specialize in creating color that looks expensive but never overdone. I am EQUALLY as passionate about hand-tied extensions and commited to hair health. Having experienced hair loss myself, I understand how personal hair can be—and I’m here for confidence, comfort, and results that feel as good as they look.

In 2020, with a whole lot of courage (and a global pandemic happening casually in the background), I opened my own in-home salon suite in Bonney Lake. It’s intimate, cozy, elevated, and designed to feel like your favorite kind of escape—the kind where you’re taken care of, listened to, and maybe laugh (or cry) a little louder than usual. This space, this business, and this community mean everything to me.

When I’m not behind the chair, I’m in full mom mode with my four kids—traveling, baking all the desserts, redecorating my home for the hundredth time, and wandering Target with an extra strong coffee in hand like it’s a sport. I’m also committed to continued education and love taking advanced classes to stay inspired and ahead of the trends.

The best part of this career? You. The conversations, the trust, the connection. My goal is that you leave my chair feeling lighter, more confident, and fully taken care of—because you deserve that kind of energy.
I can’t wait to have you in my chair.

XOXO,
Taylor
